Colours

CMYK színek

Printed graphics are produced in CMYK colour space. The printer mixes colours from Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (Key) inks. The print is made up of the colour of the light reflected from the tiny dots of ink, and this is influenced by the base colour of the substrate.

Our digital printers can print in RGB colour profiles.

Light színek - Cián, magenta, fekete

In addition to Process colours (CMYK), we also use Light colours for better quality. Light cyan, magenta and black reproduce natural skin tones, subtle transitions and shades.

Four-colour printing is used for white substrates. Here, the white colour is the base material.

White

White colour printing is used on coloured substrates as a primer to keep the colours true to colour and vibrant. For water-clear substrates, for colour opacity.

For illuminated signs, we use colour-white printing to achieve the same colour with or without illumination. In the case of a “non stop” illuminated sign, a double colour is sufficient.

Lakk

Lacquer

Varnish printing is used to decorate graphics. The gloss varnish is used to highlight the colours, giving a shiny, glossy finish. In the case of matt varnish, it is used to matt the surface of the glossy material. The convex varnish is used to create a 3d effect where the varnish acts as a lens.

Primer

Primer

Helps the print to adhere to the substrate, even on critical surfaces such as Plexiglas, glass and metal.

Jig printing

Jig printing is used for batch production where boards are first cut to size and then printed. A jig is a grid that helps to fix the position of the material to be printed. The result is that the graphics are placed in the same position and you can print several boards/items at once with one start-up. We make these custom grids by laser cutting plexiglass. We also use this type of jigs for object printing, e.g.: ice hockey, book cover, puzzle,…

For objects that are not rectangular in shape, we make a custom template (as you can see in the pictures) so that the surface to be printed is in a horizontal position. e.g.: cash register divider bar

UV printing

Printing is done directly on the material, the ink is bound by the UV lamp. Immediate handling after printing, no drying time.

The ink ejected from the inkjet head is illuminated by UV light during printing on specially built machines, causing a chain reaction in the ink, which momentarily polymerises. The drying process is therefore not an evaporation mechanism as in the case of water- or solvent-based inks. The cured paint is thick, scratch resistant, relatively rigid, UV light and water resistant. UV can be used to directly print thick materials on board. No casing is required.
